RV Detailing for Motorhomes, Campers and Trailers
An RV spends a lot of time outside, whether it’s on the road, at a campground or parked in storage between trips. Sun, rain and road grime take their toll: gel coat oxidizes and fades, black streaks run down the sides and the interior collects dust while it sits.
Our mobile RV detailing handles all of it, inside and out. Because we’re fully self-contained, we can usually come to you, so there’s no need to drive a big rig to a wash bay.
Signs Your RV Needs Detailing
- Black streaks running down the sides from roof runoff
- Chalky, faded gel coat or fiberglass
- Bugs and road grime caked on the front cap
- Cloudy windows and dull metal trim
- A dusty, musty interior after months in storage
Our RV Detailing Process
- Estimate from photos. Text us pictures of the exterior and interior plus the RV’s length and type. We’ll send back an estimate, then confirm the exact price in person.
- Inspection. We walk around the RV with you on site and note problem areas.
- Exterior wash. Sides, front cap and rear are washed, and black streaks and bug splatter are removed.
- Gel coat restoration. We remove oxidation and polish the gel coat and fiberglass back to a shine.
- Metal and windows. Trim and hardware are polished, along with the windows.
- Interior. The inside is cleaned so it’s ready for your next trip.
- Final walk-around. We review the finished RV together and take care of anything that was missed.
Getting Your RV Ready for the Season
For Kansas City RV owners, spring is the time to pull the camper out of storage and get it ready, and fall is the time to clean it before putting it away. A detail at either end of the season removes the grime that would otherwise sit on the finish for months and keeps oxidation from getting ahead of you.
Why Gel Coat Care Matters on an RV
Like a boat, most RVs have a fiberglass exterior protected by gel coat. When UV breaks that layer down, the finish turns chalky and dull, and the longer it goes, the harder it is to bring back. Regular restoration keeps your RV looking newer and helps protect its value. We use the same gel coat restoration process on boats.
How Long Does It Take?
RV detailing time depends on the length and type of RV, the condition of the exterior and how much interior work is needed. We’ll include a time estimate with your quote.
Keeping Your RV Clean Between Details
- Rinse off bugs and road grime soon after a trip.
- Use an RV cover or covered storage when you can.
- Air out the interior during storage to prevent musty odors.
- Book a detail at the start and end of each camping season.

FAQ
RV Detailing Questions
What kinds of RVs do you detail?
We detail motorhomes, campers, fifth wheels and travel trailers. Text us photos and tell us the length and type and we’ll quote it.
Can you remove the black streaks on my RV?
Yes. Black streaks from roof runoff are one of the most common problems we see, and removing them is part of our exterior RV detailing.
Do you come to my storage lot?
We’re fully mobile and bring our own water and power, so we can often detail your RV where it’s stored. Let us know where it’s parked when you text for a quote and we’ll confirm the details.
How is RV detailing priced?
RVs vary a lot by length, type and condition, so we estimate from photos. Send pictures of the outside and inside along with the length and we’ll text back an estimate, then confirm the exact price in person.
